RevivalBox
Disaster Support for Medically Complex Children
RevivalBox is a specialized disaster support system designed to help medically complex children stay safe, stable, and supported when emergencies disrupt normal care.
🧠What is RevivalBox
RevivalBox fills a critical gap in disaster response.
Emergency systems are built for scale—but not for individualized medical needs. For children with complex conditions, even short disruptions can create serious risk.
RevivalBox provides targeted, ready-to-deploy support that helps families and responders maintain continuity of care during crises.
Each RevivalBox includes:
Immediate stabilization supplies
Medical information and care planning tools
Comfort and trauma-informed support items

⚙️ How It Works
RevivalBox uses a simple two-step model:
1. Immediate Support
Pre-staged boxes deployed through shelters and partners
Designed for rapid access during disruption
2. Follow-Up Support
Simple intake pathway for additional needs
Coordination with partners for continued care support
📍 Current Focus: Northwest Ohio Pilot
RevivalBox is currently in a controlled pilot phase.
Pilot goals:
Partner with one hospital for clinical validation
Establish one emergency management / VOAD pathway
Test a single referral and deployment process
Deploy 10–25 initial units
This phase is focused on learning, validation, and responsible integration.

🤝 Partnership Approach
RevivalBox is designed to integrate into existing systems—not replace them.
We work alongside:
Emergency Management Agencies (EMA)
VOAD partner organizations
Red Cross and shelter systems
Hospitals and care teams
Our role is to provide a focused support tool within established response structures.
